(bought) The new (all of them) Velvet Revolver, Son Volt, and Ryan Adams. I almost bought Jason Isbell's new one (member of Drive by Truckers) but thought it was a bit too slow...

Probably my fav. new band is Fiction Plane, really good (Stings son fronts the group).

My Chemical Romance newest album. I can't get that thing out of my CD player, been there about 4 months now.

Lately? Hmm... Apparat - Walls, Autechre - Incunabula and Proem - You Shall Have Ever Been

I'm eagerly awaiting the new Theory of a Deadman cd. To tide my over I think im going to go get the new yellowcard cd.

I can't seem to get Stadium Arcadium out of my CD player! The Peppers are an amazing band, who else would have the balls to release a double album today? Not only do they release a double album but every and I mean every song on both CD's are great.

"I got my fist, I got my plan, I got survivalism..."

the new Nine Inch Nails.

When I painted our house I threw in some of my classic favs and enjoyed them thoroughly.

1. Ween - Chocolate and Cheese
2. Cake - Prolonging the Magic
3. Beatles - White Album
4. Beatles - Revolver
5. Beatles - Rubber Soul

and loads of African funk (Fela Kuti).

Add: Neon Bible, Arcade Fire, is the shiznizzle for rizzle. My vote for album of the year.

The Velvet Revolver i downloaded today is butt kickin' :D

Dayum, i love that sound, downloading their newest right now! 'preciate it!

The guy are very personable also.

My wife's best friend has been following these guy for a few years and we recently found out about them.
Went to see them in Macon, Jawga along with another girl my wife knows (who follows the band around). They spent most of the time between sets sitting at our table shooting the breeze.

Nick is amazing. He plays all the bass with his feet.

Nice!
Autechre are favorites of mine (their lp "Chiastic Slide", is particularly mindblowing to me).

You a fan of any of the stuff from the Schematic or Skam labels?

Ha! Youre the next one, 2nd exactly. Second electronic music lovin person here that I know (except me) :)

Ae really kicks ass, especially their first albums like Amber, Incunabula, Tri Repetae and first Eps like Garbage and Anvil Vapre. I really love that stuff :)
I like Skam artists too, like Bola, Gescom and one of my favorites... Boards of Canada, they're freakin awesome! And if Im writing about BoC I have to admit WARP records... ouh! lots of awesome stuff.

And besides electronic there is also Ninja Tune, K7, Mo Wax, etc

Good to know Im not alone :)

Thanks to internet radio I have been finding some fun stuff to fill my iPod with.

Yeah, I'm more partial to Ae's output from Anvil Vapre through EP7.
But so many of the remixes that they did were amazing, too.
I spent lots of time and money tracking those down in the mid-late 1990's.

Oh, yes; Bola and Boards of Canada (Twoism and Hi Scores!) ...I noticed your 'Turquoise Hexagon Sun' title)... And Gescom, too (Keynell!).

I'm a fan of some of the not-so-electronic stuff on WARP, too, like Broadcast and Maximo Park.

You ever heard any of the stuff on the Spezial Material label?
I'm guessing that you'd like a lot of the earlier Schematic releases, too.

Incubus-Light Grenades, My Chemical Romance, Fratelles, Tool. I'm an Alt guy if you couldn't tell.

downloaded Son Volt, the latest Ryan Adams, and 2 Bonepony cd's today, enjoyed all of them greatly.

...I was trying to list all of awesome BoC tracks... but understood that its almost imposible... because nearly every track from Hi Scores to latest Trans Canada Highway Ep is just AWESOME!

ps. In A Beautiful Place Out In The Country... is in the player

Aaaa! Cant wait till some news about new CD !

Nope, didnt hear anything from SM, and dont actually remeber if I heared about this label, but looks like I have to check it.

And from Schematic I only know Delarosa & Asora, really love his Agony Part 1 album.
