I have been in contact with the VP of Advertising from Altadis USA. She is a great person and decided to bomb me with some of their premiums including some oft he RyJs that I haven't heard of before. My guess is these are to be unveiled at the RTDA and for the good folks here even before that :whistling:

I think they are already out; a B&M near me has the beli and toro in stock already. I don't remember what they go for though.

The Tubo Limitada's have been out for awhile. One of the local B&M's here has had them for a month at least, maybe longer. Let us know how they smoke. They are pretty pricey for a NC RyJ, somewhere around $20 each depending on what size you pick up.

Interesting.

I've smoked the regular RyJ tubos, the "Numero Dos" and while it smelled nice in the tube, was crap once on fire. I hope this one is better. Do let us know, Dan.

That tube makes it look like a 30mm shell lol

And is anyone else a bit bothered by a lot of the NC cigar makers jumping on the "Edicion Limitado" band wagon?

Not at all. It has reached a point where it signifies next to nothing. I just shrug and move on.

What a lovely description "was crap once on fire". I think you should trademark that one like TB's "DICK"

IMO opinion it has become to signify an over-priced cigar, both in Cuba and without. I fell off the bandwagon after the last batch I bought were not even as good as their normal kin in taste.

It's to bad that these major brands have been marketing, Packaging instead of better smokes. My 2 cents anyway.

I have smoked the Edicion Limitada Tubo (review coming, I just need to figure out where I saved it)

IMHO, it was way overpriced for what it was. By no means did I think it was a bad cigar, but it wasn't a good one either. I won't buy another but at the same time I wouldn't turn one down if it was handed to me.
