I did Vegas in 1999. Fuggin cold then, too.

Did the strip the first year we were here, nothing like celebrating with Sinbad in front of the Mirage at 9pm after walking from the Stratosphere(the Blvd is closed) and then walking all the way back.

2nd year we did the Fremont Street Experience, much better.

Just having a few friends and family over tonight. Jambalaya, shrimp, and Killer Nachos on the menu. Hope the rain stops and the back deck smoking room can open.

Happy New Years to all!

I wound up driving to New Haven in the snow storm. There were hardly any cars on the road except for the plows :D so the ride was pretty easy, the club was fairly empty since the weather scared everyone away and the roads were even MORE desolate for the ride home at 2:00 am. :0

Since it seems that almost everyone these days THINKS that New Year's Eve is a bad night for drinking and driving or that it's "Amateur Night" it's been my experience that New Year's Eve is one of the LESS likely nights to be worried about drunks on the road. Heck, the local police and state troopers aren't even out on New Year's Eve these days anymore than any other weekend night.
