CJ is out of pocket for the next week or so. Contact the next fog on the list.

Lol, I ain't no FOG!

So I am contacting you or the next  on the list?

Sure.  Send me a PM of what you're into and what you're thinking about and we'll figure something out.  :D

My package arrived from niko yesterday. I am going to have hours of fun just researching what some of these are. Out of all the sticks he sent there was not a single one I've had before. Again, thanks niko for being my trade partner in this.

Not a problem, enjoy the smokes!

NEWBIES - Please post here and PM the FOG listed as "(Now Up!)" when you'd like to make a trade (minimum trade value is $50). It makes tracking who goes to which FOG a lot easier. Also, please read the first post in this thread otherwise you'll be ignoredFOGS - please keep us updated directly on the status of your trades.

I'm a newb. And I'm up for a trade! Actually just bought a few nicer sticks that I can work into a deal! A nice Padron 1926 serie that is in plume from a high-end B&M store nearby. He had a whole series that was aged for a number of years. Beautiful sticks. And got a few of those Opus X Lost City cigars if that's of interest to anyone. I'll probably barely be able to handle one. :)

About that "plume".. Umm ya wanna be 1000% sure it's not mold. Sad to say but far too many B&M staff have tried to pawn off mold as plume to unsuspecting noobs. Just saying plume is rare, mold pawned off as plume is common. See most recent discussion at link below:

http://www.cigarpass.com/forumsipb/topic/77376-mold-or-plume/#entry1200308

You can search and find other discussions and pics about this at nauseuem.

I was pretty skeptical about it too, but it matched all my research. It was evenly distributed across the cigar. No sign of connections or a point of "origin". No fuzzy foot or signs around the foot, just the wrapper. When observed with others in the box, they were all showing different universal levels of sheen with some having very little shades of supposed plume and some having more, but always consistent on the whole stick. I checked beneath the cigars in the base of the box to see if there was any discoloring from mold and found none. The suspected plume doesn't look 3Dimentional at all. Tried wiping it with a moist cloth and it stayed put.

I'll post pictures in a new thread, but it seems to check out? Maybe i deserve a slap.

I'm no microbiologist but I went to college. Saw plenty of moldy bread there. I think I may have actual plume. Plus I was dumb enough to trust the guy and set the sticks in my humi with a few other non affecteds, and they didn't grow hairs after a few weeks at 70/70. So I'm feeling pretty confident? Maybe I shouldn't be...

I'm in for the next newb.
I'm still somewhat new to the forum (officially on the board yesterday), but I would defiantly be willing to do a noob trade with ya Kona.  I have a pretty rare Cohiba (1988 (I do believer) and it's been around the world.....literally.  As well as a few boutique's that I could part with.  If interested, please PM me or do whatever the protocol would be in this matter.

Actually, I got my wires crossed.  I'm a Noob looking for a FOG to break the ice with.  Rare Cuban Cohiba, CF Anejo, and maybe a couple of other "boutiques" that I have to offer if there a FOG on the list just waiting.
