I doubt anyone here is smoking Phillies Blunts, but Philadelphia just banned the sale of all flavored "blunt" style cigars.

Cigars are still legal in the US. Pennsylvania is TTBOMK the second leading producer of cigars in the nation. The sale of legal cigars is now prohibited in Philadelphia.

When kids started using blunts to smoke dope, the cigars were not flavored. What if the authorities decide that kids could hollow out and fill any cigar with dope (I don't see why they couldn't)? Are any of CAO's flavored cigars robusto or toro sized? Sounds like a banned blunt.

Please write Mayor John Street at mayor@phila.gov and urge him to repeal this assault on your freedom to smoke.

Maybe they should ban those little Gideons bibles to! Some guys at college used to use the back empty pages in place of Zig-Zags.

Well, the wrapper on the blunts is not similar at all to a "real" cigar. Its like a giant cigarette with easy to remove filling. If you tried to cut open a "real" cigar in order to fill it with pot, you would have a hard time doing so.

Things are looking dim for the future of smokers in Philly. :( Cigarettes and some receipt papers can be used to smoke dope too, are they going to outlaw them as well? Atleast the selection of cigars in Philly has suddenly upgraded.

edit -
The sale of legal cigars is now prohibited in Philadelphia.
does this apply to normal cigars such as PAM's? If not, then there goes the future and the selection of cigars in Philly is nil. :0

What a f'ing joke. Are they gonna ban lightbulbs so people can't smoke meth out of them? You would think people would realize that if someone is willing to go to the effort to buy illegal drugs, they won't have any problem finding a way to smoke them. Damn politicians trying to shine up their image.

You can smoke meth out of a lightbulb????????????

You can smoke meth out of a lightbulb???????

It's a huge problem around here. They lock up all the things that you can use to make meth with and at one point were talking about adding lightbulbs in with them.
