Nothing like buying computer gear...

Yeah I long ago surpassed the need for the biggest or baddest or newest. My needs at the office and at home allow me to comfortably shop most all the tech stuff in the middle of the road. Price points are a lot easier to hit there.

To that end, I had a major $hit day. Office took a lightning hit yesterday. We lost 2 switches, the wireless access point, and 3 NICs. All I have done today is fix stuff. The hell of it is I can't figure out where it came from. I know it got into my network cables somewhere but I'm pretty sure everything is covered. My tech vendor says lightning can be a sneaky biyatch. I'm inclined to agree.

Anyway, I'm ready for a brew or 6.

Don't become a Mac user if this ticks you off. No company is more secretive over future products and if you not careful you could spend 2k on a laptop only to have it upgraded a week later for the same prices. Yeah, this happened to me. *Palm slaps face*

I'm already a Mac user and have been since the early 1990's. Yeah, I know what you mean. :whistling:
