Who's seen it? Who's set in the front rows? Is it worth the $300 I spent to sit front row center for the ol' lady's, I mean my lovely bride's, birthday??

If it makes your wife happy and makes you seem like a great husband for a few days it's definitely worth every penny. :)

i think she wants the other "O" Matt....

Cirque is a great show. I've taken the wife to 3 of them and had superb seats for the last 2. $300 seems a bit steep since we had 1st row for about half that in Philly but then that isn't the Bellagio.

O = $300, dinner = $120
to keep your wife happy = priceless!!!

My wife and I saw that show at Bellagio last year. I went because she wanted to go, but I was blown away....it was amazing. We sat front row mez. so our tickets were about half what yours were, but we really enjoyed the show and will probably go again. Yes, I thought it was that good.

Have fun, Matt - B.B.S.

I would much rather spend $300 to see "O" than use the free tickets for Celine Dion that I got for my wife for Thursdays show. But then again I am going for the other "O"....

-D

There's always a good show at the strip club across the street from the Hard Rock Casino and I'm sure you can get front row seats cheap. My wife really enjoyed that show ;)

From what I hear, the "O" show is quite good, $300 good? not sure but this is for your wifes b-day

Matt this is the best Cirque du soleil show in Vegas.
I have seen them all in vegas local and canada.

I saw it 2 yrs ago and loved it.
I liked it so much that in dec I am taking the woman too see it again..

Good sections are 202 203 (perfection) 204 (second set of seats) 102 103 104 for me seemed to be too close.

If you dont want to spend the cash I would recommend seeing LA REVE at Wynn ( also a water based show done by dragone , the guy who did most of the Cirque shows minus the cirue name and price tag) One of the best shows I have seen in Vegas. Made Ka look like KA KA!!

EDIT I see you already got the tiks!

You wont be disappointed!
The water based choreography is simply amazing.
The entire set is a mechanical marvel!
Pay attention to every little detail! You wont want to miss it!

And yes it is worth $150.oo per ticket!
Dpnt forget a nice dinner befor hand! At Delmonico steak house!! oh and have a scotch anc cigar in the bar area :)!!

I just spent $300 for tickets, sitting in the very front row (wet seats). Going during the big smoke weekend (two weeks from now). Looking forward to it. I saw Mystere, and that was excellent!

If you're sitting in Sec. 104, row A, seats 10-11, let me know and I'll leave a couple of farts in the seat cushions for you. :sign: We're going on 11/1. Oh and thanks for the reviews guys, the rest of you smartasses can give yourselves the big "O" the next time you have the vaccum cleaner out. :p

:0 That is a little close for a Cirque show for me. You will miss some low stuff but it is still an amazing show.

Give her the O face Matty!

I was thinking the same thing. Plus the high stuff you will have to strain your neck to look up... But hey it's the Cirque so it will still be amazing!!!! :D

Oh god, gay french circus. My girl and I got in to a huge fight over this a little while back. We were going to go to vegas and she wanted to see the show. I was happy to go, untill the price was thrown down. My argument was "I am not going to waste that much money for me to go to something I am going to hate. It would be like me making you smoke a very expensive cigar." Wrong answer.

Anyway, I hope they like it and have fun. All I have to say is DVD of show $20, HDTV $500, upscaling DVD player $80. You break even and get a new TV and DVD player :D

"O" is a great show; IMO the best that Cirque has to offer. The traveling shows simply don't come close in terms of complexity or design. Having a resident stage with a pool gives the choreography more depth.

Saw it July 2005, and my girlfriend and I were extremely pleased that we decided to see it. She even wants to see it again!

$600, who cares. That's like a few bad hands of blackjack or poker. Or think, two nights of good table games and the show will be free!

I have no doubt you'll enjoy it!
