Okay, so do dis-similar cigars marry?

LMAO

I will leave the thrones for people that deserve them, except for our Queen Matilda. :D

I am honored to be a part of the House of Commons, thank you very much.

You know the bottom line is that none of you guys here have given me one ounce of credit........
Bob

Respect? Somebody owes you respect?

I learned long ago that respect isn't gained by being right or wrong, it's gained by how you conduct yourself. Someone can be proven wrong about a particular subject, but gain my respect by the way they handle it.

Similarly, someone can end up proving themselves pedantically correct, and lose my respect entirely.

cigar smoke, clearly you are knowledgeable and experienced with Havana cigars... but one thing I have learned regard any cigar manufacturer is "never say never". I've seen some highly unusual things over a short period of time.

I've never met Devin in person as others here have (though I hope this changes one day), but when someone is the real deal, it's fairly obvious. Devin is the real deal. More importantly, you both share a passion that should result in a friendship, not a pissing contest.

Take him up on his offer to share a cigar with him. I'm sure he will be a gracious host, and you will both learn a thing or two.

My credibility was questioned from the start..Just read the thread.....As things progressed attitudes appeared including mine.......

Bob

Wow this is a lot of thread! lol Bob I questioned your credibility from the start. I am always leery of people who profess this loudly about their knowledge base and then muddy the waters with minutia when someone questions that knowledge.

Who are you? Do you really expect people to blindly heed your posts based soley on your say-so? (Please see my prior question)

In any case thanks for the amusement. Perhaps you'll get a chuckle out of this. I once saw a guy pull out a Cohiba. It was in cello. The band was the most telling. It had far too many rows of white boxes above 'Cohiba'. And to cap it off the guy was at a motorcycle rally. He then offered one of them to me. I had to laugh. But probably not for the reason you might think.

Anyway this has been a great source of amusement, thanks!

Nicely put.

The actual text from the magazine is quoted as saying " In the 1980's all Cohiba models were packaged only in the cellophaned version, with the exception of Robusto"

Without seeing the rest of the paragraph that was quoted I may be interpreting this out of context. However, as presented, wouldn't this mean that the Robustos were available with or without cello?

Bob,

You sure are full of yourself, not to mention quite the drama queen. Why don't you simply state your "facts" and move on. You're clearly here for the drama and nothing more.

I said that I would respect Rod......... I have tried to state the facts........This just got out of hand.
This is my last words on this thread..........Sorry if I offended anyone. And Apologize to all the members here' Devin included...........

Hope we can put this behind us......

Bob

LMAO!

So what happens only three minutes later ???
Rod if you would close this thread I would appreciate it.......It has stirred much negativity.....Not in the spirit of this fine forum.......

Bob
Sorry bob, threads are rarely locked here. From my point of view you're the only one spreading "negativity" in this thread.
