I love that in the pics Rural guy posted, the last one says she is "pretending" to smoke a cigar. The media is a joke. Who are they kidding?!! :laugh:

I saw this and knew it would be an instant media frenzy. Should they be allowed to celebrate? Absolutely should celebrate but I think they could have done it in better tastes. The problem is if they prove the one that isn't of legal age to drink in BC. What will that turn into other than more outcries and complaints which could have a sound footing.

The thing that the media isn't making clear is that these pictures were taken 30 minutes or more after the victory. The women were in the locker room already celebrating privately with friends when the IOC asked them to come back out for more pictures. By this time all of the public were gone and all that was left the media and Olympic volunteers/officials. When the women came out, as the public were all gone, the women didn't think twice about just extending the party to the ice.

If people want to be offended by anything it should be that McDonald's and Coke are huge Olympic sponsors, but that is not portraying a negative image!!
