What does one do on the Saturday after Thanksgiving?

Why go on a 700 mile roadtrip with his old man to smoke a couple cigars with his newfound BOTL's Smokyballs and OutlawD of course!

Yea, crazy I know, but fun for sure.

Brad and Dirick were busy, so didn't have a lot of time to jaw with us, but did manage to visit some. The owner was there... so they had to be good boys :) Actually, the owner (Kendall?) was a great guy as well, answered a lot of newbie questions, and accomodated us quite well.
I decided as I smoked my Serie 1926 that I had to have a Gurkha Beast. So I grabbed one from the humidor and paid up. Brad stuck it in a bag for me, a very well stocked bag I might add! He really set me up, said "Merry Christmas!" I tell you guys he is as crazy as they come. The cigars are awesome!

If any of you get the chance, be sure to go and visit the guys at Outlaw, first class establishment, first class BOTL's!

Doesn't surprise me at all that you had such a great time! HEar nothing but great things about Outlaw and their crew. That reminds me I owe Smokeyballs a call ..hmmm this is going to be fun. :whistling:

All three of the Outlaws I know (Brad, Scott, Dirik) are some righteous guys. It would be cool if I was as close as Alan is to the Outlaw store...would be nice to sit with a couple of brothers from another mother.

Sorry, I missed you Allen!
It was my weekend off, but damn if I knew you were going to be there I would have taken a few hours to come smoke with you guys.
Glad you had a great time.

I'll agree with everything said thus far and will admit that I spend WAY to much time at this place :D

Too much sweetness in this thread. I'm glad you enjoyed you're trip Allen. I enjoy it most mornings I go to work. Except today when I have to work with that piece of... whoops he reads this! No man it's a blast. I was going to send you out a holiday sack anyway. Saved me some shipping. Enjoy the smokes brother! Cigars(dvds, video games, pornography, music)are my passion. I enjoy sharing them with people that truly appreciate them(unless it's someone who thinks my cigar should be finished by them). My wife understands this passion. She works a job that I wouldn't wish on most anyone just so we have insurance and that I can be the wrong person I am with the general public. Thanks guys-B

I just wished i could have been there but unfortunately I spent all my money on cigars. :0 Maybe you can come when they start the Events in March. Now those are FUN.

I can't say a mean word about Outlaw. This place has been my smoking ground since the day they opened the doors. Brad, Scott, Derick and everyone else have always been helpful, knowledgeable, and very generous. Definatley the place to be if you like cigars in Kansas City.

When spring rolls around they will have another round of BBQ smoke events. I hope that I can see some of you guys there. Always a good time.

I sent an email to outlaw cigar shop from their website probably over a week ago. I haven't ever gotten a reply.

Ya better off sending a PM to Smokyballs on this. Or call them instead. Way better results.

Take this manfest off the board, ya bunch of NAMBLA members.

Not that there's anything wrong w/ that.

:sign:

Glad you and your dad had a good time Allen. We all really enjoy working at the Outlaw, who wouldn't :D

Come see us anytime.

(thought i had more to say but that about sums it up)

Man, what's not to love about the Outlaw?? Such a great store. the gurkha and I were in there twice last week! :)

There is absolutely everyting right with the OUTLAW. They have great cigars a great environment and a great staff.

Scott, Brad, Dirick all great guys couldnt go wrong with any of them. Great place, great guys, great cigars........nothing shy of a place to get away from home.

Can we say December Herf at the Outlaw for those who will be around.....i smell a good idea...... :sign:

If somebody makes the arrangements, I will make an effort to get to KC to meet some of you.

I do plan on going to one or two of the events that have been scheduled this spring. So If things don't work out in the next month or so, maybe later it will.
