Partagas Culebras

You take them apart. Fun to pull one out and split it with friends.
Spoilsport!

I wanted to see photos of John huffing the whole braid and turning green doing it. :p

Wilkey
  I may be uneducated, but if a Power Ranger can still make me wobbly............ What makes you think I'd be stupid enough to smoke three Partagas at the same time.

Of course, on a dare for a free one and one to post with I might do it. :whistling:
Oooooooh,

That just might get a taker. :)

Wilkey
Bring on the Culebra! :whistling:

don't waste the good stuff, use a Medusa!

The first price I've seen on these is $122.50 for a box of 3 culebras.

I just pre-ordered 6 of these (if I understood the pre-order form) scheduled to ship on the 15th. I had to pay $25 extra to get the coffins, but thought they were important in this case.

I bought some of these recently in the Partagas Factory in Havana $62.55 Convertible Pesos ($78.20 US)/box of 9. At close to $9/stick the Bolivar GM seemed a better buy at $54 pesos ($67.50 US) for a 10-pack...less than $7/stick. They were only allowing you to buy one box of each. I think the marketing geniuses at Altadis are in over their head on this one. The Culebras sold in Cuba for $28/box of 24 in early 2000 even though they were machine made. Also I liked the packaging better in the older version as the foil kept the cigars from getting banged around and damaged. The coffins leave too much space and I get the feeling that the foot of the cigar may get damaged if it has to travel. John

$13.50 per stick? :0 For a culebra? Yall can have em.

BTW, make sure none of them end up like this:

I hope that the new freezing process takes care of the majority of the bugs.

I also think the price is high on these for what they are.

That picture makes me sad.

I wasn't sad.... I was mad! I took great pleasure in torturing every live SOB I found.

FYI, if you pin their wings to a piece of cardboard with straight pins they can't move around as much while aputating their head. :whistling:

My vendor says he's still waiting on them... anyone seen these yet?

Got my shipping notice on Friday and they should be here at 10:30 tomorrow morning.

Ordered mine on the 20th, said they'd ship on the 24th, then said it'd be the 31st, and I've still not heard anything... Time to shoot an e-mail.

Smoked one with a couple friends last week - that's what they are for :) - we were suprised by the smoke time and how well it smoked\tasted...very good for a young cigar....very tasty!
