Perdomo Silvio

I smoked a gifted Edicion de Silvio a few days ago. It was a torpedo with a natural wrapper.

Very unimpressive. The flavor was neither complex nor rich. In fact, the thin taste was pretty monotonous throughout the entire cigar.

I cannot imagine myself actually paying for one.

That said, some folks say the Salomone is pretty impressive. I'm not willing to pony up $30 to find out.

Wilkey

I've had a few and the Salomone was the best of them. Not a $30 stick though.

Well, this thread gave me the incentive to burn the single that I have.

It was gifted to me a while ago and had been sitting in the humi for a few months.

Fragile wrapper is right. By the end the head was in bad shape, however it still smoked all right.

I really enjoyed the taste, but I thought that it burned remarkably fast (and cool) for a churchill (I think)

Very nice smoke, however not a 20$+ nice smoke

I smoked one a while ago and the thing just kind of exploded in very, very slow motion. The wrapper started to split and for a while was splitting and burning...eventually the split got ahead of the burn and the cigar just started falling apart. I tossed it after smoking about 1/3 of it. It was only later that I realized that it was a $25 smoke.

Got one from cbid for $11 not a bad smoke but I would'nt pay more than $10-15 for this gar. smoked it as soon as I got it so no problem with the wrapper.
