My father just recieved his new 2006 Z06 and called me away from work to play! Unbelievable! It handles totaly different from the 2003 50th Anni that he has. 505 HP and stops on a dime! which is a good thing because the city police looked really pissed as I topped 90mph over the bridge! 6 Speed manual transmission and loaded to the gills. The only thing I was disappointed in was the lack of a HUD and removable hard top options. I love not having to take my eyes off the road to see what's going on. Anyhow, still on the adrenaline high and had to share the excitement!

Where's da' pix bruddah??!!

Wow,

Great car. In general, I'm not a fan of American Iron but you just have to respect the Z06. I sort of like the Mustang GT500 (?) that they've been talking about. Sort of a cheaper version of the GT IIRC.

Nice one, Nate.

Wilkey

Nice wheels.

Acceleration 0-62 mph s: 3.7 :0

My neighbor is raffling one off. They look sweeeeeeeeeeet.

Nice. Someone very close to mee was very torn between the Z06 and the Porsche Cabrio 4s. Bioth have a lot of what he was looking for in a car. Went with the 4s, and is quite happy with his decision. He loves carving up the corners...but if you fellas meet him at a light, he's going to be very sad, methinks...

One of the Chevy dealers here is also a scotch guy so I've finagled my way into the driver's seat of one. I could get used to it!

That 427 has a very small cam to get maximum efficient. One of the hot rodding magazines (can't remember which now, most likely Popular Hotrodding) put a decent sized cam in it and added better headers and the Z06 dyno'd at 650hp.

I could definately get used to it...however, as my father so gently put it "that's my goddamn car"! I will have to get used to the 505Hp before I try 650! I've done 777Hp off the line before, but you only have to drive straight for a 1/4 mile! Otherwise the box pass will have to be re-routed to my hospital suite.

Nice car, saw two of them in yellow last sunday. Wonderful sound and good sporty look. They might have been upstaged a bit by the other cars they were driving with but they were awesome cars.
