Pretty Big Announcement !

I am very pleased to announce that I have been offered and accepted the position of Director of Wine and Marketing for Maxwell and Dunne's Steakhouse on Long Island. I start the week of September 18.

In addition to handling all of the wine, liquor and beverages I will also be handling all cigar related activities as well.

For those who were there, this is the place we had our recent Long Island HERF. Now that I will be working there I hope to see all of you a bit more often and I will definitely increase the number of cigar parties - that is a guarantee.

To all of my fellow cigar nuts :cool: - I think this is an ideal place to hold HERFS - great location, centrally located and now that one of your own is on the inside I think you can gurantee that you will have a great time. I would love to hear your ideas, suggestions, etc. on how we can really kick this into high gear for the remainder of 2006 and beyond.

oh Ben, now I am not sure if the celebration HERF should be held at your back yard or Maxwells.


Congrats and if there is one thing for sure it's a HERF in the honor of your new job :thumbs: :thumbs:
 
Yeah - it is pretty cool. I finally made my passions (wine and cigars) my profession. And for the first time in God knows how long I am actually happy and excited about going to work! :D

As for a party - let's get going, get the guys, start talking and start to set something up!

CONGRATULATIONS! The east coast sure has a lot of cigar venues. My jealousy rules supreme. :cool:
 
Congratulations. I'll be in NY sometime in October and I'll definitely come and check it out...any of you NYC BOTLs want to join me?
