Problem entering smilies in Mozilla Firefox

Have any of you had the problem that when you try and insert a smilie or a tag it doesn't go where the cursor is and goes to the end? If so, is there a way to fix this?

I am using Mozilla Firefox.

I just looked at a post that I'd sent just before I left for work today. It might have been with Mozilla, but I'm pretty sure that it was after I'd loaded Firefox, and they're fine.
And I know I posted in the past with Firefox installed, and the smilies worked then as well.

I am using Mozilla Firefox.

What version. i"m using Firefox 0.9 and it's fine. They have Firefox 1.0 now.

I've got the same problem. Don't know why ???

Same here ??? But if you get one out of place :0 , you can do like I do and cut and paste it where you want it.

Make sure you're using the latest version of firefox. It's still a new browser and there are bugs in it.

Same thing here. I always thought it happened because computers hate me.

I've had that problem with every version of Opera I've used since I've been here. I've just been typing the smilie code for all but the first month

The only ones you have to think about are:

sign
thumbs
lookup
love
sneaky
angry

I only use Firefox and no problems here. uninstall, and re-install the latest verison.
