So there I was, all geared up and ready- we were responding to a barricaded hostage situation at the quicky mart. After a systems check with my longtime partner Trashman, we were off. My M4 was loaded, the taser was cocked and the flashbangs were at the ready. Sneaking around the corner of the store, we spotted a lookout for the gang. He spotted us, but before he could move Trash dropped him like a sack of potatoes with his silenced 9mm SMG. We inched forward, checking around every corner, wary of the danger these guys posed.
We picked the lock on the back door, and I peered under the door with my Opti-wand. Seeing no one in the immediate area, we cautiously enter, Trash looking left while I was guarding right. we were virtually silent (except for the brief gunfire, even if silenced! :whistling: ) and suddenly another gang member appears! This time I had my Taser at the ready and I nailed him- right in the groin! Oww! He's quivering and shaking as the electricity surges thru his body. He's quickly cuffed and we continued. All of a sudden, I look on the wall...
Wow! lookit that! A cigar ad! The guys at CP would probably like to get a laugh over this! I'm not paying attention to Trashman hollering in my ear, wanting to know WTF! Where was I, and why was I not backing him up! Just a second, I gotta take a pic of this...
just as I snapped the pic BANG! Ratatatatat! My world goes black... some A-hole gang member sneaks up behind Trash, waxes him and turned his Uzi on me. Oops...
But I got the pic!
The game is Swat4 by Sierra Games- pretty damn fun! Especially when you're rewarded for
NOT killing everybody! My buddy and I have been playing alot and this is a new favorite- trying to clear a building with all less-than-lethal weapons is a challange... especially when the bad guys have real guns! But talking online while we work together makes a huge difference. It's so much better than having to type messages while trying not to get killed. But you should have heard him cussing after this mission!
Pretty interesting to see cigar ads in games that kids will play, huh? I'm actually
amazed at the number of ads in the game - they're everywhere. But it is rated mature... :whistling:
