I do not have a cutter or a cigar puncher. Is there anything else i can do? I thought about using my mouth. what do you guys recomend?

I suppose you could just bite out a chunk, a la Clint Eastwood. Opinions vary on which cutter or punch, but I think its unanimous that you should get one.

yeah im getting one soon but i just don't have one right now. I have two cigars that i want smoke tonight, but they are not worth going to the store to buy a punch or a cutter. I think im going to order a cutter and a punch with the padron sampler.

My first few cigars were cut with the small scissor of my Swiss Army knife. You can see the knife on the table in my gallery.
You can get a punch for three or four bucks, and a cigar scissor for ten... I wouldn't wait very long.

A golf tee works well in a pinch. Wet the head for a few seconds and poke a couple holes with the golf tee. make sure not to clean the tee as it adds to the earthy flavor 
Otherwise, flick the cap off with a fingernail, bite the cap off, use a sharp pocket knife to circumcise it......whatever it takes but don't ever refrain from smoking just because you don't have a cutter.

The best cutter I have is a Benchmade MiniRSK pocket knife. Wicked sharp, pinpoint control, total visibility of the cut line, always on my pocket. I've never had good luck with my fingernail but then I keep them cut short.
Alternatively, you can pick up a $1.99 guillotine cutter from the cigar/cigarette shop the next time you visit.

regular old scissors or a razor blade can work. Just do a nice score around the cap and flip er off. And like these guys said your teeth are a great last resort especially if you don't really care about the smokes too much. I use my canine's... I have canines like a vampire so that works well.

A pencil works just fine. Just use it like a punch - poke it into the centerline of the cigar. And what are you doing without a cutter ... most cigar smokers have half a dozen just laying around.

I recommend you walk into a cigar shop and say, "I'd like a cheap cutter, please." Dust the lint off a couple of coins hiding out in your pocket, or maybe you'll need to get one from between the driver's seat and the center console. Hand the coins to the proprietor. You will then be the proud owner of a cigar cutter.
