I might disagree with the idea that you can tell much about the cigar from smelling it untorched, especially in a B&M walk in humidor.

It is only my humble opnion, but I would love to know what other brothers find in this case.

I haven't had too much problem being able to isolate a scent in a walk-in humidor. There have only been a couple times when when I sensed in a walk-in changes to when I am outside. I'm probably just weird, I don't know.
