Real Quick Anejo question

Yeah, they don't rush free box orders. 7-10 days is about the norm, and in NYC they will not carry the small mailers in the POs anymore, which sux.

PM I sent to someone who asked:

Will be going to get boxes at the PO tomorrow between getting my NV license and going to work. I hope.

Sorry to be taking so long, but M and W I have class from 10am until 10pm, with a 1 hour break for lunch, tuesdays and thursdays I have class from 10-1, work from 1:30-5, fridays I have work from 8-2, then class/meeting from 3-5, so, as you can see, it's a bit tough to get to a *nice* post office that will have what I need. Tomorrow I'm skipping class to get a license, then will swing though one on the way to work. I hope.

Thanks for your patience,
Andrew

Working and school are tough to fit in together. I work about 30 hours and week and am 16 hours, so I feel ya. Most of my lurking is in done in class, God bless WiFi :D .

Yup....oh and I forgot to mention the fact that I smoked them all, and have just been stalling you guys...

Just jokes just jokes!

Damn, 45 cigars in like a week, and anajo's at that? Is that even possible?

Less typing, more taping. :whistling:

Who are you anyways! haha, Just kidding my friend. I've noticed you always seem to be the voice of reason...

Read my schedule, please. I'm a busy guy. The Sticks are happily chillin' in my humi right now, all nice and happy, and like I said I'm going to grab some boxes tomorrow if time permits.

Andrew,

Don't worry about missing class, etc. to get these out a day or two earlier than otherwise. You're doing everyone involved a service which is no trivial undertaking.

Stopped by a post office and got 8 lil boxes, they didnt have the slightly larger ones. So, the majority of the packages will go out on Sat. Morning, provided there arent packages too big to fit in the boxes.

Are these flat rate boxes? The little VHS sized ones? Or is there a general price that it costs to ship?

It would say right on the side of the box whether it was a flat rate box or Priority

Does it make more sense to drop these off on monday? So they don't sit in the mail for an extra day? Or do I need to drop them off the day after I printed the labels? Also, if I ship them on monday, is it worth risking without humidification? I don't have any water pillows or humi packs...dunno where I'd find any either.

5 down, 3 to go...

put in wrong shipping date, sorry bros, I cant rightly ship them at 7pm....don't even know why it let me do today.

Would you all be okay with me shipping them Monday so they don't sit an extra day?

Andrew

Okay, think I figure'd out how to keep the cigars humidified.

I have a peice of humidifier sponge that i replaced with beads, I also have PG solution. My plan is to moisten the sponge a little with the PG and place it in the baggie with the cigars. I'm currently running a test on this and it;s holding nicely at 70%. Note: All cigars in in cello, therefore will have no contact with the sponge or PG. I will do this for 6 of the 8 packets, as for the other 2, I have 2 little humidity button type things that they gave me at the cigar shop.

This seem like an okay method? Also note that I didnt said soak the sponge, I said moisten.

Thanks.
Andrew

if this is Kosher, I'll send them out Sat morning.

They will be ok with no humidification for a few days. Priority Mail only takes 2 to 3 days, the smokes will be fine.

Sounds interesting, but you really don't need to worry about humidification. As long as the bag seals when you close it you have nothing to worry about. I have cigars that have been in closed bags for several weeks and are as good as the day I received them.
