Well guys I am about to become the newest engaged CP member. Today I bought an engagement ring for my girlfriend. Hope she likes it. Now all I have to do is come up with a way to give it to her. Sorry about the crappy pics. I just have a camera phone.

Been there done that....let you know if any benefits come along with it after Sept, 2nd! I won't be letting her eat any wedding cake. I hear that has been linked to a severely diminished sex drive! :p

I flew my fiancee out to San Fransisco to meet her long lost childhood friend and her husband. Proposed in the city. :D

I had the President (Bush 41) ask my wife over 16 years ago. Just had our 15th year anniversary last week. And still counting. :rolleyes:

First let me tell you that from what I can see you have made a beautiful choice in the type stone cut. It is a lovely ring as she is gong to just melt when she sees it. Good Luck!
 
Congratulations, besides if you were able to pick that nice of a ring out im sure you have something in mind for proposing, you’ll be fine.
 
Congratulations! My tip to you is try to get pictures while you are proposing. It goes a long way for you in the future when she looks back on that day and sees how "romantic" you were to do that for her. For me we took a horse and carriage ride through Niagara-on-the-Lake and I got the driver to take pictures as I proposed at the end of the ride. Here are the pictures:
