Well, we're gonna miss Sunny Central Florida and the great weather in the winter but we are relocting to Cornwall, NY which is next to the West Point Military Academy. I have already landed a job on West Point and also we found a nice two bedroom condo as well. The wife is from that area and is 1 of 14 and most of the relatives are up there still and she misses them. For the past 2+ years, most of our vacations have been flying up to NY to visit relatives. Now we'll be able to take regular vacations and see new places. The plan right now is the wifey is flyin' up to NY the morning of the 27th and getting the condo all set up with the electricity, cable, telephone, etc. I also am flying my brother Frank (Big100HD) down here that morning from VA to help me load the moving truck. He's going to drive the truck pulling a trailer that has my jeep on it and I'm going to drive our Explorer Sport Trac. We are planning on making it to Leesburg, VA by the evening of the 30th cause I'm flying my budy down to VA to drive the last leg up to NY the next morning. Hopefully, things go nice and smooth as planned. We are planning on making one stop atleast which is at JR's in Selma, N.C. where I plan on picking up some nice sticks to fill a new hum that I have. The 14th was my last day of work at GSCI and I have the next 11 days to finish packing things up and do the last minute things that I always wanted to do while I have been here...... :D  :p

Congrats on the job and good luck with the move. Tell Frank to stop in once in a while too.

Charlie is leaving us....So long to a great Central Florida BOTL. Good luck to you and your family. I'm sure things will work out as you want them to.

In the meantime, we plan to get together this Friday (see Charlie's post in the Events forum) for some fun and cigars.

I know you'll fit right in up north, meeting some new friends and looking up some old ones. Hey, you are going to miss our best month here in Central Florida...August! ha, ha, ha (my generator is on order... :( )

Happy trails....

Cheers,
Joe

Congrats on the new job and welcome to our area. Hope that your move is goes smoothly. I live pretty close to you in Carmel, NY. West Point is a beautiful place and I think that you will enjoy living there. Army hasn't been winning very many football games lately, but it is still fun to go watch some college ball.

Very exciting, good luck, enjoy the drive!

And enjoy New York! I used to play hockey tournaments on the West Point campus years ago, and I remember it being a very nice area.

Lots of trees!

Congrats on the move. I hope all goes smoothly
That's a nice part of New York your going to

Thanks a lot for all the well wishes fellas. Joe, I know we're gonna have a great time this Friday at Harry's, plenty of great ceegars, BBQ and some great music as well. In reference to a herf when I get up there, that definitely sounds in order. Also AVB, I bearly can get a hold of Frank on the cell phone never mind on the cigar boards. This is his busy time of the season with three full crews out there doing landscaping 16 to 18 hours a day. Lastly, I use to be stationed at West Point from 95' to 97' before I retired from the Army and I know the area well. As a matter of fact, I use to be the Non-Commisioned Officer-In-Charge of the warehouse where I'm going to work now...... :D  :p

Trading out hurricane season for severe winter huh? ;) It's nice that you guys are moving near family, I'm sure you'll be happy there. Hope the move goes smoothly for ya. :)

Hey that's great.

If'n you're in Leesburg for more than a day and you have a second, I'd be happy to herf with you and broheim.
