Just saw this in the news today. I think I'm going to get my guitar and do a little tribute today. A great loss.

That's a bummer, that one influential brother, RIP.

R.I.P. Bo

You will be greatly missed.

I just purchased (last week) a Bo Diddley CD, much to the chagrin of my wife, who has no appreciation for that genre'. He will be missed.

"in Philidelphia it's worth 50 bucks"

A Bo Diddley line from what movie?

Musical anthropologist credit Bo's beat to the Hambone, from the days of slavery. Bo, in one interview on NPR gives credit to Roy Rogers. Many considered him to be a comedian.

Doc.

Otha Ellas McDanial, a big man with a big sound. If you listen to rock, you listen to echos of Bo.

I heard about Bo's passing today and he will be missed. As a guitar player for more than 20 years, I can hear his influence in just about all of the rock music in my lifetime. He did not get the recognition he deserved in his lifetime. RIP.

A very under appreciated (by most) man. I was saddened to hear of his passing and I've been listening to his music all day. I'm not a musician of any kind, but I can really hear and feel his music and influence.

:(
