RIP Chris Kelly of Kris Kross!

Sad to hear he died of an apparent drug overdose in his home in ATL. I grew up putting these two songs on every mix tape I made! If you in my age generation and like hip hop you know there was a time in life you turned your clothes around like these two.

Confirmed it was an OD?  Sad.  I wasn't a fan, but that IS another piece of my youth gone.  My little cousin was a big fan and I'd tease her about her backwards clothes all the time.

I was a huge Kris Kross fan. I never wore my clothes backward but I could rap along with the first two albums. I saw Slayer last summer on the Mayhem Tour what a terrible loss for the metal fans

I saw that about Jeff Hanneman this morning when I woke up.  Terrible.  From everything I've read, it sounds like he was not well recently, most likely due to long-term complications from the spider bite/recovery/treatment.  Man, that's horrible.  Kerry King gets all the limelight, but Jeff WAS the guitar in Slayer.  I was not a huge fan, but I had Seasons In The Abyss growing up.  I was constantly around their music, though, as my best friend was a huge Slayer fan.  As a guitar player, anyone who is into metal knows who Jeff was.  What a horrible week for music...
