You were one first in my youth that I got to watch when music videos were new and MTV still played them. You'll forever be remembered a part of my youth and adult life as one of a handful who kept Rock n Roll real. No gimmicks, synthetic instrumentation, or "creative" studio editing you couldn't recreate while on tour.

This one is rough. I'm not going to say that his music changed my life, or anything, but his songs pop up at some very memorable times in my teenage years. Really brings back some memories. I was disappointed I wasn't able to see him on this 40th anniversary tour. I'm glad he got to finish off the tour, though I'm sad that he has left this world.
