Gettin' my nerd on, Hopp Schwiez!
I've got a friend making a road trip from Miami to Seattle this summer with his family (Swiss and Thai family). They asked me for some recommendations on places they should eat, with a focus on local places/ BBQ. I've lived near one of the cities on their route, so I made suggestions, but thought the collective knowledge of CP could come up with better and more current ideas. Their route is Miami-Orlando-Huntsville, AL-Memphis-K.C.-Lincoln, NE- Cheyenne-WY- and Seattle. He's familiar with Miami, and his family lives in Seattle. I've sent them to Rendezvous in Memphis and suggested Dreamland in Huntsville. What places would you recommend in these cities or other cities along the route? For example, I'd add 43rd Street Deli for breakfast in Gainesville, FL.
