Had a nice time burned a bunch of fine sticks.
Lost only a few bucks in the casinos.
The weather was 80 everyday and had some showers in the late afternoon and eves.
Walkin around old San Juan was nice, lots of interesting old architecture.
The forts were cool especially on Sunday when people were flying kites on the grass by one of em.
Took a day trip to St. Barth's.
A pretty amazing place, nude beaches and liberal smoking laws.
Flying in has a super difficult approach and you can park your car and wath the planes coming in down the hill of taking off low over the beach and then banking left.
Took a day trip to El Yunque, a very cool rainforest.
Stopped by a beach town on the way back home for some grub.
For great fried food and dollar beers I hit Pinones.
Smoked a cigar in one of the only indoor smoking areas in San Juan , El San Juan resort.
Never made it to the Bacardi factory...
Next time I go perhaps...
Then I will get out of SJ!
There's a ton of stuff I missed by staying in town...
Vieques, Culebra, Rincon, the lechoneras down south.
If you go be prepared to be patient.
Service in the restaurants is mediocre at best you can wait for a looong time (for food, your check) and the food is generally mediocre.
I am super patient and even I was tested from time to time.
Driving is an experience too!
The Carribean certainly doesn't suck!
Especially in the winter!
