i have taken a liking to these cigars for there amount of flavor without being bitter. i was wondering what other cigars are comparable to these?

thank you

And they're inexpensive... Don't go looking for anything else dude. The grass may be greener on the other side, but hidden in the grass is a life of lies, deceit and money hidden in shirt pockets. All to afford those cigars that ARE NOT Sancho Panza Double Maduros.

Don't do it.

ok, so let me get this right. what your saying is that others that are comparable to this cigar are way more expensive, thus making it not worth trying?

I like them quite a bit myself and right around $2/stick if you buy a box.

P.S. S a ncho Panza

abernier, please refrain from using all lowercase. It keeps our forum looking tidy and professional. Thank you.

MG, I don't think he was drunk....it's not even lunch!

In about the same price range, try the Mayorga Maduros. Good, chewy smoke, roughly the same class of product. I enjoy them both.

excuse me. Some people around here are way to uptight. this is an internet cigar forum, lay off.

Thank you to everyone that left a helpful response.

Dude,

Let me lay it out for you. Watching your spelling is part of the customs here. Yeah, this is an internet forum, but that doesn't mean what flies anywhere else will fly here. That's just the way it is.

If you can deal with it, then hang out for a while.

If you can't, well, you know nobody's making you stay.

That's all there is to it. Well that and watch the attitude. It doesn't make a diff whether you stay or go. But keep it up and you won't have a choice.

x2 Mate. Cigar Pass likes to keep a civilized tone, due to this being a site based on a gentleman's pursuit. I acknowledge this sounds a bit pompous, and perhaps that is due to my choice of wording. Nevertheless, that is our custom here as Wilkey stated, and it does not take too long to check your post for proper presentation before clicking 'Add Reply'.

I just think people should relax, it is not worth getting bent out of shape over. Not capitalizing words does not make it difficult to read or understand.

I do apologize, and if that is how you guys want it done, then i will follow accordingly.

I would not have a problem with someone correcting me if they actually had something to contribute to my thread. What angers me is that he/she went out of their way to criticize me without any other advise on what the thread was relevant to. If you ask me, that is not in the "gentleman's pursuit," and it does come off as very pompous. Very double standard.

Honestly...No need to relax, I think. No criticism, he was simply informing you of the board rules, which should be understood before your posts. He could have been a real d*ck about it, but chose to do it in a civilized way, and ask nicely to correct yourself (thank you for doing so, BTW). The FOGs are very protective of CP, with good reason, so get used to the tight policing of the board by the longterm members. It may seem over the top at first to some, but stick around awhile, and you will grow to greatly appreciate/understand why these guys are so strict.... because it is so successful at keeping BS/trolls out of the forum.

As far as your OP, read around a bit about some of the budget minded sticks in the review forum. Perdomo Lot 23 comes to mind first, and you can NEVER go wrong with any Padron. There are many others, but they escape my mind right now. Most will tell you that being a CP member will spoil you and your budget, and soon you will be spending your life savings and cashing out your retirement fund to buy more and more cigars, as tsmckenney alluded to in the first response!!! Its gonna be a slippery slope my friend, don't say you weren't forewarned!!!!! :whistling:

X2 on that - when you see people talking about $10-20 cigars, you naturally want to buy a few yourself. Even if you can't afford it, or especially if you can't afford it. Slippery slope, amigo.

That said, cigar in the same price range and similar vein is Don Kiki Brown Label. I'm smoking a figurado (the "botella") right now (alas, no review coming on it - just lit it up while working). The toro is on sale right now to members of the cuban crafters email list, which brings it down to exactly the same price point as the Sancho Panza Double Maduro. Nice. I'd also recommend the Angel 100 but I think that that LE is totally gone.

Getting back to the topic at hand, I enjoy the sancho panza double maduros as well. You really can't go wrong with a $2 smoke that tastes as good as this one does. For me, it's a nice change of pace, ESPECIALLY when money is low! I don't regualarly smoke these, but I have had quite a few when I'm on the go, or can't give my full attention to the smoke.

Some other cheap buys that are good smokes (not really the same flavor profile...but it doesn't hurt to spread it around) are the Benchmades and Tatuaje Series P...both run between $2-4 each. I prefer the Benchmades especially!

You guys may now proceed in the verbal onslaught again! :D J/K

I just received a bomb with SPDM's in them - thank you again, you know who you are - and they're really quite nice. Brilliant execution, in fact; I would have never pegged these at the $2-3 price point, and I can only guess that the low price point and ubiquitous distribution of the Sancho Panza line tends to decrease the esteem in which they're held.
