Well, Visited my Local B&M. I asked my normal questions "if they had any God of Fire, Esg (Aston) Bla Bla Bla." I have A box of Vsg's in the back "the guy said." Great I thought to myself. Ill get a couple of those. How much are they? "20 a stick", he says. OOOOOOOOO "I'll take one", I said. Great looking band on it. Hopefully I can pick up some more soon (befor etheir gone.) Anyone smoke one yet?

Edit: Esg not Vsg my bad

Hate to burst your bubble, but you paid a tad bit too much. What size was it? Around here we've got plenty of VSGs to go around, from about $10-15 a stick depending on size.

I overpaid by alot for my first VSG, $23 for an Illusion, but damn that was a great smoke.

slcraiders, Yes you are correct. I wasnt hooked up to phonics

The long awaited and anticipated release of the Ashton Estate Sun Grown
(ESG) has finally happened and its release heralds in the 20th Anniversary
of Ashton cigars. A very limited extension to the Ashton line, the ESG wil lbe released in one size each year for the next five years. The first size,a 7 x 49 beauty will be followed by a 5.5 x 52 robusto size. After five years, all five sizes will be available on an on-going basis.

The ESG uses a Sun Grown Cuban seed wrapper never before used.
It is grown exclusively at the Chateau de la Fuente farm in the Dominican Republic. Its limited availability and long delay in its release was due to the longer than anticipated aging that was needed for this very special cigar which is blended exclusively by Carlos Fuente Jr.

$20 is a good find. The MSRP is $18 but in the Dallas/FT Worth area they've been going for $22-$28 a stick.

My personal opinion is that the ESG is a great $10 stick but not worth the $18-$28.
