When someone screws up, we collectively hand them their butt. Rightfully so; it’s how we all look our for each other. However, when someone does the absolute right thing, I think that shouldn’t go un-noticed either.

I recently made a purchase from Shooter, and without a lot of details, let’s just say it didn’t go as Shooter or I wanted it to. Shane was a complete gentlemen, PM’d me his phone number so we could talk, and we agreed on a solution. He didn’t dodge, didn’t waver, he just made it right. I got my return package today, with a full refund of my end including shipping, and a 5-er of some very treasured smokes for my troubles, not that it was much trouble at all.

Shane, I wanted to say thank you for your efforts on this, and to let the group know that you are one stand up BOTL (if they hadn't figured that out already). My hat’s off to you, bud. It’s good folks like you that make trading a pleasure. You and I can trade again, anytime.

My sincere thanks again – B.B.S.

Well done, gentlemen.

This is quite a refreshing change from the ways that some other guys have mishandled their transactions.

Thanks an bunch, you deserve credit also. I appreciate you not getting bent out of shape when things didn't go as planned. Sometimes things don't work out quite right and it really isn't hard to do what needs to be done. To me it takes more effort to make excuses, point the finger and blame something or someone else. If two people can work something out privately, BY ALL MEANS do it. I know sometimes that is not the case. Yea I screwed up but hey it happens. It is not a case of who is right or who is wrong. Just stand up and take care of it. Was I embarrassed, hell ya. There is just no reason to have to drag things out in public as sometimes is the case.

I would also like to add that BBS was a complete gentlemen himself, on the phone as well as all the exchanges of PM's. Very understanding, and also sent me a fiver of smokes, which was completely uncalled for.

This is the way things should be done. Glad to hear that even though things got messed up that they got fixed and in a mutually agreeable fashion. Good to see that the word "community" holds up in the bad as well as good...at least among gentlemen.
