Skeet shooting advice

My advice is if you go with a 12 ga, be sure to have a padded vest, and remember the proper way to put the gun to your shoulder. Don't get cute! Otherwise much pain later lol.

Last year I went out with my step son and his buddy to shoot at a range near the house. Borrowed my dads remington 1100 semi-auto and I think his 870 pump (i think it was an 870) both 12 gauges. That 1100 kicks like an sob. A couple of boxes later and I gave the rest of the shells to the young ones, cause i couldn't take another shot. The next two days were fun when i had trouble moving my shoulder lol.

Sounds to me like back in the day you might have used an 1100 too. Damn thing always had issues with ejecting shells, though this time I broke it down, cleaned the hell out of it, and replaced the o-ring, and for the most part it didn't jam.

I'm really happy I COULDN'T find the 3 in mags for it though, LOL!

We don't call semi-auto shotguns sewer pipes for the nothing.
