I just got the Cuisine Art stainless steel model. For those of you that can't BBQ in the winter because of the cold but like your meat you will love this thing. I made Chili with it yesterday and it tasted great.

Slow Cooker

Ok betty crocker,

I had to read that post twice, each time laughing harder than before....
A man, on a cigar board, and a SLOWCOOKER/ CROCKPOT ....HAHAHA
What is next? You all gonna start talking about moisterizers and hair conditioner.... IF that's the case we are gonna have to start lacing bombs with testosterone :p

Cheeks, men love their meat!

Aren't women suppose to be more attracted to men that can cook?

Now Now little lady some of MEN can cook. I like a crock Pot myself using it for a nice roast with tators, carrots, onions mushrooms and a nice big pan or southern corn bread. Ok so I live a lone and do not have a life. :p

I'm a big crockpot fan... there is a recipe collection put out by Marlboro that has some of the best chili Cook-Off recipes ever assembled.
I minimize my cooking to BBQ'ing on the Weber and throwing meats and spices into the slowcooker. :p

Cheekie, I do all the cooking in my house. I won't let my WASP wife anywhere near my galley.

Doc.

Hey I am a fan of a man that knows how to handle the meat
< uhm... ok I know that sounds bad, but you all know what I mean >
Hell- the man in my life is a kick ass cook, oooh roasted veggies....Yum!! But, I too will lay it down in the kitchen when I so choose to- actually come to think of it I do most of the cooking
Wait<I got tricked!!> I get 1 meal to every 5!

... it just wasn't the topic I expected to see on the board- But I will keep it in mind when packages have to go out to some of you, I know this store that has the cutest pink frilly aprons :p

lol ranger doug there are 3 of us now with same avatar. I get confused with gonz from time to time.Sorry about the thread jack Cheekie just saw it for the first time.

Just send it before mother's day so I can re-gift it

I also do all the cooking in our house. :D

I wouldn't be caught dead without my crockpot.

Yes, I do have an apron... but it's not pink and frilly.

Chili is about the greatest thing ever invented when it comes to slowcookers.

Try this:

1 pacakge split skinless chicken breast
1 jar of pasta sauce
1 pack o f sliced motza cheese
some italian breading.

Brown the outside of the chicken very slightly, bread it. Place in the cooker, drown in sauce (add a lot of good spices, garlic, salt and so on) Cook on low for about 4-5 hours (i think). Layer the top with the motz the last 20 minutes or so.

Parmesan Chicken... mmmm

Oh, and I have an apron as well, it's layered in purple and gold, with "vikings" all over it!

Hell, I still have to cook. She'll start something and by the time I get home, she's stressed out and I have to finish it.
