Smoking Outside

There's nothing quite like a sunset over a large body of water. That's my Nirvana, enjoying a cigar while watching that sight from my camp deck literally 50 feet away from the Lake Erie shore.

Sunday night was a treat. Typical beautiful sunset, followed by fireworks over the lake for the Labor Day holiday. Ever watch fireworks reflecting off the water while you're enjoying a smoke from the comfort of your own deck?

John, glad to hear you're finally getting out of the house. :D

I am forced to smoke outside also but love listening to the ball game and puffing away.
Anybody else geting attacked by mosquitoes?

I live in town and see about a dozen stars when I smoke on my deck at night due to light pollution. I go to Canada once per year on a fishing trip and am astounded at the amount of stars I see when I'm out in the middle of nowhere away from city lights. I have a hard time picking out the two dippers as there are so many stars I'm not accustomed to seeing. It is truly breathtaking and it really does make one feel insignifigant.

I havent spent much time out on our deck or in the back yard much in the last few years, unless we were having a party or I was doing something. I think Ive spent more time out there this summer than I have in my whole life. I really enjoy sitting out on our deck puffing on a cigar and relaxing. There is nothing like it. My grandmother bought me one of those metal fire pits to put on the deck, so now I can sit out there and have a fire while I smoke and cook hot dogs.
