I believe it is the idea of obtaining permission prior to usage. You asked, they didn't. Such as if I were to use your car without asking you first kind of deal.

Moki's hard work is greatly appreciated, and since it is a free resource for all of us who love cigars, it is such a shame that others would abuse that for their primary benefit.
 
People are always looking for the easy way...It's a shame that common courtesy is no longer SOP with so many people. :(

I just joined that place so I could look around and one of the sites sponsors of The herf Hut is DELMARFINECIGARS. Now if you go on to Yahoo Auction you will see this guy named afuente_2000 who sells cigars from the shop at insane prices. :angry:

When one of your site sponsors is a gouger I think the whole site has a problem. :whistling:

Yes, and I've done that before... but I modified our web site such that hotlinking doesn't work, so that I wasn't wasting so much time hunting down Yahoo auctioneers who were pilfering the images.

What they did is they downloaded these images, and then uploaded them to their own hosting site, so that option is not on the table.

OK, that place is really weird. I just registered for the hell of it, and there's all kinds of strange sub-forums. It sure is nice that I can go to one place to request prayers and check out nude photos at the same time!

As a member of that site and knowing the founder, I know that it was in fact no way a bad thing he was TRYING to do...Andrew's information is impeccable and he should be proud...they are AWESOME. Sorry about that...no hard feelings we are just trying to get our feet on the ground.....sorry to piss anyone off, not intended at all. Andrew I am sure Bobby will contact you soon with an apology that is just how he is. Thank you for letting us know about the scumbags we have registering it is appreciated. I was wondering how the hell we got 30 members in 3 hours....

I am a moderator at the afforementioned site, and will attest to what coovs said. We are a new site and are sorry to have infringed on Moki's images. The majority of the people there use your (vitolas.net) site as reference. And realize our mistake in using the images on our site, we sincerely appologize, the posts containing them have since been removed. Thank you as well for your concerns on the shaky status of some of our members, I have not dealt with Del Mar Cigars myself, but there are people on our site who have, and those who have dealt with them have had no bad dealings with them or thier owner. I apologize once again on behalf of the site, it was meant no harm. Thank you
