Dear Friends,

It is important that we always keep in mind how we will be remembered when our time on earth comes to an end. There are many moments in life when we act selfishly wanting only for our own benefit and not really caring about those around us.

What is amazing to me about life is that we entered this world with nothing and we will leave this world with nothing. The only thing we will leave behind is our legacy which translates into what our life stood for and accomplished while we were alive. If we take a moment and reevaluate how we are living, all of us can find things that need to be changed for the better.

The good news is that it is never too late for us to start living in a manner that allows our impact upon others to be felt for generations to come and when our time does come to an end, we will be thought upon with love and praise.

Be encouraged and know that no matter how long or short our life may be, it can be used for the betterment of others. We can make a difference whether it be in word, act or deed. Each of us can make an impact upon those who are discouraged and hurting to let them know that bright days are ahead of them if they only don't give up and continue on in faith.

Let that be your new mission and continue to build others up so that they may also carry the torch that you carry to encourage, lift up and shine their light to the world.

I hope this message encourages and challenges your heart to think about the brevity of life. How will we be remembered when our time comes to an end?

Make every day count for something positive so that when we leave this place there may be someone you impacted that is thankful for your having been here in the first place.

That's exactly how i believe everyone should live their life. Leaving a positive thought behind is more important than some materialistic thing. Thanks for the thought!

"Cattle die, kinsmen die;
We ourselves die too.
One thing I know that never dies:
The fame of each man's deeds."

That's my favorite verse from the Havamal, a sort of compilation of Norse wisdom, advice, and proverbs.

From about 1000 years ago. Some truths are timeless.
