I'm looking at putting together a few custom humis for myself and a few friends and am having a hard time finding Spanish Cedar. Is there another name for it or is there another type of wood I can use as a lining?

It escapes me now and I will search to try and find it, but someone mentioned a certain kind of mahogany that would work as well does anyone remember that? I may be crazy, but I was sure it was mentioned.

Kiln Dried Spanish Cedar. I believe "Spanish Cedar" is related to, or actually is a type of Mahogany.
It is important that you get Kiln Dried. You do not want that "stuff" sapping out on your cigars.

I frequently look at humidors on ebay. I've seen several DIY humidors/conversions/etc. where is is apparent that the hobbyist did not use Kiln Dried Wood. You'll see the sap stains all over the wood.
