ok...
everyone remember that online list of phone numbers to major companies, and how to by-pass the recordings and get a real person on the line?? guess what... it really works!

Had to call FedEx this morning to track down my CAB of SLR "A"'s since they were delivered and yet I do not have them. Seems the morons at FedEx delievered to the wrong house. there's another section of my street across town, yet 1) street numbers are way different 2) zip code is way different and 3) THE GUYS NAME WAS WAY DIFFERENT. how do I know? it's listed under who signed for it on the tracking info!

Morons... but the list works! I tried calling and got the "push 1 for this, 2 for that" crap. I remembered the list, looked it up, checked out the entry for FedEx, and called back and had a humum in less than a minute!

now if they'd just find my #$%^&* package I'd be happy with them.

that is asking WAY too much there!
kidding aside, i hope they find and deliver your package!

Well there ya go, It's Fedex, you should be happy you talked to a real person let alone actually get your package.

Man that sucks Swissy...

hell if I had the guys name and address, I'd hop in the car and go pay him a visit and pick up my box myself.

Confirmed... they delivered to the wrong address. They would not, however, tell what that address was. They are probably worried I would go over and get my box (hell YES I would)

But, they are sending the driver over and TRY to retrieve the box... yeah, right. If someone is going to sign for a box, that is not addressed to them, at the wrong address, like they are going to give it back!

Of course, isn't opening mail not addressed to you a federal crime?!? Or does that only work for mail thru the postal service?

Grrrrr... morons

Well you have the guy's name and he lives on the same street... how big is your town anyway?

I'd damn sure go get my cigars.

Big and town don't go together up there. :)
Good luck, Jim

lol thats what I thought as well... but I was trying to be polite :p

actually, Anchorage is about 575,000 souls.

Problem is, I DON'T have the guys address... it was NOT on my local street... and they would not tell me where they dropped it off at.

Trust me, if I even had a slight CLUE where the box landed, I'd be canvassing the area looking for it. All I have is the last name of the guy who signed for it, and last look in the phone book showed over 50 names, most with no address listed... why can't it ever be SnaggleDropper or something like that?!?!?

Seems more and more like I'll be doing battle with FedEx...

Man what type of slime-ball signs for someone else's mail anyway? I would have been "Errrr sorry I didn't order anything, so you must have the wrong address."

And Jim, I thought you had both his first and last name :( I hope everything works out for the best.

Dale and I have been waiting on a box that Ekans sent a few weeks ago and it seems to have fallen into a black hole as well. Annoying to say the very least.

ALL'S WELL THAT ENDS WELL!!!!!!!

FedEx truck JUST left, and I have my box. Guy was very apologetic... he was the one that delievered to the wrong house. Musta been his punishment, to put up with me! But he had a good story. The box was unopened, and intact. He was the delievery guy for the other guy across town. he saw the box at FedEx (unique wrapping job I must admit...), saw the SENDER and thought he knew exactly who the box was for... a guy on his normal route who gets these occasionally. he didn't look closely and see MY address. Seems the 'other guy' orders cigars from the same source!!! Amazing he didn't open it... he just held onto the box once he realized he didn't order them, and waited. Probably hoped that the poor schmuck that DID order them (me) would be afraid to call and complain since they are ISOM's! :whistling: and he'd end up keeping them!

I tried to get the other guys address, and thought I'd drop off a few for him as a thank you for not absconding with them! But they still would not release the guys addy...
WHEW... I'm just happy to have them finally.
