This 12" was supposed to be 3"-5". Until they can predict the weather accurately 1-day out, I'm not listening to anything else about it. The weather people here are idiots.

I'm not really complaining. This gives me a little longer to get the boat ready. :cool:

Cold front coming in and by the weekend highs in the mid 60's with a north wind coming off a cold ocean :angry:
 
wow. i got a little sunburn yesterday, and i thought today's 40 degrees in ohio was bad. i haven't seen the white stuff around yet (and hopefully won't).

Slowly working on the wife for a move, but she's a native and doesn't want to leave her family. She'll come around one of these years I'm sure.
 
Only 32 in Chicago today, but thankfully, no snow. Could be worse - on the way home from work I heard that Northern Michigan was expecting 24 inches of snow tonight. :(

You got a lucky prediction. Back in the early 1990's the weather man said we are expecting just 6" of snow in 3 days. Well, he was a tad shot by 84" as we got hit with 90" in 3 days. We had snow in the back yard till May/June.

Didn't get snow but i feel ya man, just a week ago it was 65-75 daily outside and the past 3, 4 days its been 45, rainy and windy as hell... it needs to warm up so i can just sit outside after a long day of class/work and relax while enjoying a nice stick. :angry:
 
If we get below freezing Saturday night (some predictions are for 30) it could be devastating for me, i've got 25k freshly planted trees that could get killed, not a good feeling

I have to admit though I'm a little jealous. There has to be somewhere good to get a little snowboarding done or something. sledding maybe even. I'd take what I could get

Everywhere has already closed for the season. It was 75 a week ago and there was no snow left. This was the biggest snowfall April has seen since they started keeping records in 1875. The first 5 inches of ground has already thawed and under the snow is a nice juicy layer of mud, our normal spring ground covering. This is the kind of snow that weighs about 50 pounds per shovel full. We built a snowman today and could barely lift the head to the top it was so heavy!

It got all the way up to 25 today. Tonight it will be about -5 or so.

Pfft it was 70 here at Christmas and now at Easter it is below 50....nasty ALabama weather....I hate it...

PS... But i LOVE the allergy and cold shyte we get cause of the weather fluctuation...I really do love it!!!!
