First day over 50 degrees in the Northeast in a long time! The smoking porch is almost ready to open and thanks to recommendations here that I have read from you folks my humidor is full and ready to serve me. I am sure my fellow Northerners know what I am talking about!

Since Feb. 2004, when I had an accident on ice and then surgery, I have been confined at home. I am still unable to go further than my blessed smoking porch. I have been waiting for this Spring to come so that I can get out and have a cigar! It's been a long time since last Summer.

Thanks for all your recommendations that I have been picking up and here's to Spring! Light'em if you got'em.

I know exactly how you feel I for one was happy to stand outside today for the first time with no coar on. Thank God for spring.

Enjoy your smoking pouch and get better soon!

Last night was the first night where I didn't come back from smoking with numb hands. Definetly nice to have warm weather to smoke in, but today it is raining like hell.

No joke i have a few biggins that i need a good amount of time to sit there and try to choke out....maybe ill try to repeat mokis feat of stupidity and try to smoke the Indios Chief in one sitting.......god help us all and bring on the warm weather.

You gotta hotbox that thing. In car, windows up. I'll accept nothing less from you Drew. ;)

I can't agree more about the weather. I took off an hour early yesterday and went home just to soak up some sunshine. Ended up lighting up a cigar and sitting on the porch as the sun went down. I love this time of year. More time to smoke. :whistling:

With a high of 58 today, and a very light wind, I just might be smokin my first outdoor stogie of the year in my yard tonight. Will have to have a fire for sure, but have been waiting quite a long time for this. Actually wore shorts to work today for the first time since December 3rd of last year. When I picked up my first patients today (Im a patient transport driver), it was about 38 out, they thought I must be out of my mind.

Great day today, looking forward to the same tomorrow.

77 degrees at 4:30 pm when I got home here in southern PA. A glass of Talisker 18 and a Don Carlos Presidente on the deck completed the day.
