Storing Boxes Of Gars...

I also think that the wood inside your humidor may be a better quality than some of the boxes cigars come in.

Interesting you mention Padron. My favorite major B&M and nine boxes of Delicias on the shelf (yes along with many others) and NONE of the gars were wrapped in cello, just the seal.

Yes, the gars had cello.

Any box I buy...unless it is meant to be a gift for someone else I open. I think it is important to check out the cigars inside. What happens if you put a beetle infested box into your humidor? The outcome can't be good.

I age alomost all of my gigars for about 4 years...but I also always open every bow inspect them and smoke one from every box before they go into the humidor! Take the cello off and look at your babies. It will not effect the aging process.
