Storing Tatuaje Blacks

I recently purchased a jar of the Tatuaje Blacks, and the jar comes with a humidifier in it. I charged that, plus there was a boveda pack in the jar as well. I decided to put my hygrometer in there to check the humidity, and it was reading nearly 80%. I know these are "wet" packed in foil, and I've heard you can leave them in the jar as a humidifer for them, but I'm worried at that humidity they are going to develop mold. I don't have a large enough humidor to stick the whole jar in(I now, set up a cooler), so I'm wondering from any of you that have one of these jars what is the best way to store these? Leave them in the jar? Move the foil wrapped sticks into my desktop humi? Stop worrying so damn much? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

If space is really an issue... I got plenty! :D :p

No really... in my experience, the Boveda packs do a pretty damn good job of regulating rh. I'm sure that Pete wouldn't have it this way if it was likely that they would be damaged via jar storage. I could be naieve though...

You could try taking out the humidifier and just use the boveda pack, if that fails than just put the cigars in your humidor and put the jar somewhere people can see it :).

Those jars are small and with only 19 sticks, I don't see why a Boveda pack would not be more than enough.

You really did not need to charge the humidifier. I would just take that out for now, and rely on the Boveda pack alone. If the humidifier was glued, you can use some velcro sticky to put it back later.
Yes, you need to go ahead and invest in the coolidor as soon as you can, that's your best bet if you're going to invest in boxes anf jars like this.

Also, you need to leave the cigars in the foil bundle for at least another eight months so that the cigars can do some additional "wet pack" fermentation that will improve them.

I just took the jar out of the box and poped the jar in the Wineodor. Didnt even take a peek at them :(

 That's it. You don't need that extra humidifier provided under the lid, the Boveda pack should be plenty. I believe it is attached by velcro so removing it and replacing it if necessary shouldn't be a problem.

Someone send me a jar of these and will determine through rigorous experimentation the proper way to store them. :D :sign:

Stop worrying so damn much :) would be my guess. You know you don't want to keep them in the jar where it is 80% humidity! And you don't have the space right now for the jar so you will have to store the singles in in your humi.

Guys thanks for all the help. For now I have moved the pack into my regular humi, and I took the humidifier out of the lid. I'm going to leave the boveda pack in there with the hygro, and if it the rh drops enough I will move them back to the jar. Now, if you will excuse me, I'm going cooler shopping.
