As a newbie to cigars i have been trying to figure out what i like and dont like. I have already tried two sun growns, those being the double chateau Fuente and the Perdomo reserve, however, these have been two of my favorite cigars. So i thought i would go to the boards and find out what others like in the sun grown wrappers. Any suggestions.

An easy, probably obvious one is the Ashton VSG's. One of my favorites.

Ashton VSG: Tres Mystique, Illusion
Fuente: Cuban Belicoso

Didn't care for the Rocky Patel SG, Chateau Fuente SG.

Like others have said, the Ashton VSG line is the best IMHO. I have had several Rocky Patel SG that I enjoyed.

Easily the Illusion for me, though that Cuban Belicoso does very nicely.

Padrón 1964 Anniversary & Padrón 1926 Serie!

Ashton VSG is prob my favorite overall smoke as it is. Also, Rocky Patel sun grown is very nice. AF cuban as well! :)

Another vote for the Fuente Sungrown Cuban Belicoso!

Padrón 1964 Anniversary & Padrón 1926 Serie!
By far my favorites, especially the '64s.

They seem smoother than any other sun grown I've ever had, and I've had all the ones mentioned in this thread (except the 858, of course).
