This morning I get into the office to find people standing in the hallways and everyone talking about "the heist". I ask whats up and they tell me that our office was hit by a thief last night and to see if I am missing anything. I ask what he/she took (that they know of) and apparently it included 20 or so laptops, numerous external hard drives, LCD monitors, etc etc... So I run to my desk and BAM! Laptop is there, monitor is there, but our thief has an eye for the finer things? Oh yes, he stole my desktop humi and about 25 cigars!! I actually chuckled because the bastard took the only thing I would care about. So long story short, the PD came by and told everyone to get out of their offices until the crime lab guys show up. A little while later those guys got here with their cameras and finger print kits. It was like a mini CSI in my office, kind of entertaining. I wrote up my little report and listed what they took. The cop said "Cigars cost that much?" I told him "the good ones do." he laughed.

Damn... that sucks. Sorry for your loss. Start checking Ebay.. those comps will be up there soon enough.

That sucks DD, Hope they catch em! What self respecting person steals a mans cigars

Bummer, that'll teach you to keep all your Cuban Davidoffs, Opus Maduro and Don Carlos Edicion de Anniversario's in your desktop at work!

Wade....So how much did you say you wanted for those laptops and Davidoff's when you get back from your trip to Denver?

Edited to say: In all seriousness......Sorry to hear about this. What a bummer of a morning. Hope it all turns up intact at a pawn shop or, something.

Yep, there was a 5er of them in there but live and learn. Some scumbag has himself some damn nice smokes..

Jonas, tell me there weren't any of the latest purchase in there!

Yep, I thought the same thing and made sure to fill the report out as such.

Better tell them they were all domestic. They won't pay you back for ISOM's.

Not sure yet. There were a few other people with personal property stolen. Have to wait and see how the company handles it.

Damn, Jonas! Is your employer's insurance going to compensate you?

That stinks, Jonas! I hope they catch the no good rotten @&$&@#@!!

Sorry to hear that. Reminds me of the time my car was stolen, then found - All I cared about was my clubs in the trunk. Luckily they never opened the truck. Car was trashed, but the clubs were fine.

That stinks! :(

Any body want to take the over/under on when those Anejos and Opus are turned into blunts?

Bunch of savages out there...

That sucks! Most office thefts are inside jobs. Hope you find him wandering around the office one day before the cops do. Payback's a bee-yatch.
