So, I look into the box, and there are tubos, there are Cohibas, Bolivars...ooooh, some of my favorites....oh, wait, damnit, brain...put two and two together....that was on the thread discussing.....yup, there it is, on every band, and each Tubo, "FAKE." I can't even hand these out to undeserving moochers!

So, thanks....I think...gave me a good chuckle....gave Gary a good chuckle, too!

Give 'em a try Josh. They aren't horrible and worth smoking to experience what this type of counterfeit tastes like. I've taken a few apart and while I've found plenty of crappy tobacco in the filler, have yet to see a single pubic hair or chicken claw.

Oh, I'll likely smoke one of each variety. I imagine I will nto find too much difference in the blends, as they look nearly identical, as you noted in your analysis. My biggest issue is not wanting to waste what little smoking time life affords me on known fakes. Perhaps I will smoke half of one, then let it die, cleanse the palate and reward myself with something nice and interesting....liek a tequilla flavored blunt.
But then again, without pubic hair or chicken claws....where is the flavor to come from?

I think I've stumbled on a secret technique used by the counterfeiters that makes these cigars feel so pliant and well-humidified even though the filler tobacco is dried out, brittle grade-Z garbage.

Let me know what you think. Here's a clue, leave one out in a dry place for a week or so.

I think I've stumbled on a secret technique used by the counterfeiters that makes these cigars feel so pliant and well-humidified even though the filler tobacco is dried out, brittle grade-Z garbage.

Let me know what you think. Here's a clue, leave one out in a dry place for a week or so.

There is noplace dry in my house until the winter. No central air...it's a battle to keep humidity DOWN until then. Interesting, though. I will see fi I can leave one on the dresser in front of the AC for a week, and see if I can discern what you found.
