In the first book of Timothy, Paul encourages his young friend to intercede, or pray on behalf of others. He wrote, "I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions, and thanksgivings be made on behalf of all men, for kings and all who are in authority, in order that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior..." (2:1-4).

May the men and women of CP be of one accord.




Heavenly Father, as Evelyn undergoes this procedure today be with the medical staff and guide their steps. Keep them clear and focused on the job that they must do.

Lord, we ask that You be with Evelyn, that You'll restore her body and keep her mind and spirit strong. Be with her family and provide for their needs as well. Lift and comfort them as they wait and watch for You. May You be honored and glorified as You work in their lives. Thank You Father.
