Really enlightening. Studying The Civil War was on of the the best experiences I had in School. It was a different time when people really put their lives on the line for what they believed in. Abraham Lincoln was one of the greatest leaders in our history. If it wasn't for McClellan's ineptness as a leader the Civil War would have been over quickly. McClellan wanted to be president so he was running things his way, trying set Abe up for failure, with young american's lives in the balance. The charged nature of the Politics of the day with ideologies that cannot reach reasonable solutions; It's a fight we are still fighting today, all in the name of Patriotism. It makes you think what exactly is Patriotism?
