So, its a pretty good idea for a thread. What would be the last meal of your life? Sorry if this has been done before

If it was the last meal of my life and didnt care about calories and fat, etc. I would eat

Sweet and sour chicken
3 McChickens
Large strawberry shake
Portillos Italian beef and cheddar croissant (2)
A macaron bar
Perogiees

and finish with an Opus X as I have never had one, and always hear amazing things

20 oz. Ribeye; Bloody
Loaded Twice Baked Potato
Snap Green Beans
Tall Southern Sweet Tea
Fresh Apple Pie with a Double Scoop of Vanilla Bean Ice Cream

...and an Opus X Scorpio

I like how you think, lurch.

Had a bone-in buffalo ribeye at the Reata in Ft. Worth awhile back. That, bacon-wrapped grilled asparagus, and a baked potato drenched in butter and sour cream would pretty much do it for me. Good cabernet to drink. Maybe Oysters Rockefeller for an appetizer, and three-layer tiramisu for dessert.

Added: Oh yeah . . . also a Padron 80th Natural and some George T. Stagg on the rocks to help digest it all!

Last meal would be among the first I remember. Spam and macaroni.

Prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, prosciutto wrapped asparagus, potato gniocchi with meat sauce, a burrito from Moe's some grilled cheese and tomato sammiches and to finish it off peanut butter fudge and some cinnamon bun icecream. I'd probably burst my stomach but it'd taste great!

The 16 course tasting menu at Joel Robuchon in Las Vegas, a bottle of Cristal Rose, and a bottle of Silver Oak 2004 Napa Valley cabernet. Then for dessert a bottle of Macallan 25. :D

Fur burger with a side of thighs! :D

Oh...I'd have to say a big 'ol filet mignon medium rare with grilled asparagus and garlic mashed taters.

I'm liking Lurch's way of thinking myself.

20 oz. Ribeye; Medium Rare
Large (as large as they get) Baked Potato smothered in real butter, sour cream, mozarella cheese, chives and bacon bits.
2 lbs of Steamed Alaskan king crab legs with drawn butter for dipping
Sweet corn on the cob
Bbq baked beans
Cobb salad with blue cheese dressing
Freshly baked sourdough bread

For dessert a large slice of double chocolate devils food cake with chocolate icing and a scoop of vanilla ice cream

Down it all with a tall glass of ice cold milk

Sausage and Peppers on Calandra's bread. (Newark location)

My last meal would be a compilation of "New York" meals, as it were. I'd have a dirty dog with lots of onions, a knish, a bagel with cream cheese, some good Chinese, and maybe a sausage parmagiana hero.

I would have a run of Ohio Valley regional food.

DiCarlo's Pizza
Coleman's Fish
Stromboli's Chicken Breast Sub
Convenient Food Mart chicken
and then Chilean Sea Bass with Lyonnaise Potatoes from Ruth Chris

All washed down with Martinez Martini's

Yes, I'd be sick as hell, but it's a last meal so who cares.

Any one of my mother's holiday meals consisting of no less than.....

Baked Macaroni and Cheese
Collard and/or Mustard Greens
Dressing (This is stuffing.... AND NOT STOVE TOP!)
Turkey
Mashed Taters
Green Bean Casserole
Homemade Gravy
Biscuits
Sweet Potato Pie (A whole one...... just for me)
Coconut Cake
German Chocolate Cake w/ the homemade Pecan Coconut Frosting!

..... and I'd wash it down with 3 or 4 tall ice cold glasses of Coke!!!!

Fillet Mignon medium
3 Pound Lobster
1 pound King Crab Legs
A 20 OZ cup of butter for the lobster and crab
and a Vanilla shake after

I'm not too picky....either a bacon cheeseburger from Jackson Hole or a nice big bowl of Hamburger Helper :D

AVB's scotch collection paired with a box of Davidoff Dom Perignon's and Dunhill Monte 2's. If I'm going to die anyway might as well take matters into my own hands.

Shrimp and Lobster Ala Vodka for a pasta dish
Medium Rare Roast Beef
Mash Tatters, with Heinze Brown Gravy
Broccoli covered in Garlic and Oil
Buttermilk Biscuits
Ruffino Chianti Classico

Devils Food Choc double layer cake with Vanilla Frosting and Ice Cold Milk

PSD 4

Oh me...this is hard once I had to actually think about it...Let me see if I can get it covered.

1. Big Ribeye(No certain size, big covers it), Med-Rare
2. Collard greens with pepper sauce
3. Boiled Okra
4. Baked Mac and Cheese
5. Fried Green Tomatoes
6. Cornbread Dressing w/gravy
7. Sweet Tea

How would I ever hold all that??

Probably afterwards, I'd do a few bottles of my favorite Pinot Grigio, eat some Cherry Pie and smoke a few BTLs...I think that's good...although I did not find a place for sushi...I might have to squeeze that in somewhere ;-)

Melly (Edit to add an item of importance)

Breaded chicken parm over linguine w/ garlic cheese bread
Garlic smashed potatoes
Grilled Cheese sandwich on sourdough and a pickle
1 slice of Lorenzo's pizza

and if I had room left for some of that baked mac and cheese... that'd be just terrific.
