The letter I just sent Representative Jim Gerlach (R-PA)

Dear Sir, regarding the SCHIP bill and President Bush's veto.

I have an issue with tying this with a exorbitant increase in cigar taxes.

For if you place cigars prices out of reach of those who buy them, who is going to fund the bill.

As a fellow Republican and a Pennsylvanian, I urge you not to override the President's veto.

I agree that the children living below the poverty line need health care, I do not however think that this is the proper way to fund the bill.

Consider this done on my end...although the last round was 100% unsuccessful. Both MI Senators do not care about my opinion on this matter. I have not given up hope though.
