I have a couple posts here with ashtrays I have restored and/or picked up at antique shops but of the 9 or 10 cigar/pipe ashtrays that I have, this is my favorite. I’ve always enjoyed gargoyles and this ashtray just screamed at me when I saw it. I’m fairly sure I got it at the same mall news shop in Salem, NH where I purchased my first humidor but it could have been some other mall news shop. I still use it quite a bit for solo smokes and when I’m not hauling out the big stands for company.

LMAO! I got a hat at the cigar bar in NOLA and it says that on the back. My kids got a huge laugh out of me wearing it around town!

Cuban Creations is the cigar bar, and they did have T-Shirts, but I don't see any merch on their website.

My previous one, nothing special about it. I bought it in Mexico on vacay like 15-20 years ago. I was afraid it would get broken in the checked bags so I packed it in my carry on. Needless to say when it went through x-ray there was an interesting convo with the TSA guy.

@Rod Not an ashtray, but as the OP I think I can take a little liberty here. And a couple ashtrays are inbound so I’ll post them when they arrive.

Your Godard ashtray made me bring this upstairs. Years ago, I built a professional quality poker table and had custom chips made to match the table cloth artwork. Somewhere, I stumbled on a matched set of Godard chip cases, good for 500 chips each. They were like $49 so $98 for the set and I snapped them up immediately.

After this, back to your regularly scheduled programming.

Man, I pored over that big glossy Perdomo cigar catalog for half an hour. It was just like at age 12 when the neighbor kid brought one of his dad’s Playboys over when his parents were out. I’m definitely getting old and boring!
