The USPS broke my Humi & my Heart

Look on the bright side bro, you're living in Brussels.

Yep... good beer and good cigars and lots of travel opportunities in Europe.

The Beer is great, still need to make it to the Abby to get some of that monk brew, and I found my first cigar shop, down on the Plas, it was closed because monday was a holiday.

If you ever make it over to Westvleteren let me know Tim... :whistling:

Well, while I am waiting to have this resolved, I found out that I can get some nice cherry veneered(sp) plywood at the local hardware store. This and the fact that the base that supports me has a complete woodshop that is going to be closed down if no one gets in to use, has prompted me to build a cedar chest like humi for box storage and maybe a few singles. I will keep the masses updated.

but, to hold me over I just ordered this
Link to my new humi

Hope it makes it through the mail better than the last one.

Tim

Well got the new humi in today, set it up and it is seasoning with the hydra right now. Hope it does not take to long, I really like it, not as much as the other one, but this one is bigger.

I hope to have a few pics up in a day or 2

Tim

Well, I went in to NATO to check my mail today, in in the box was a nice shiny check in the amount that I insured my humi for.

I really can not believe that they paid the claim.

Cheers to me!!!!

Tim

Amazing. This is the first time I've ever heard of anyone actually getting paid on a claim. Congrats Tim! Glad it all worked out for you.

I don't friggin believe it. I checked the temp in Hell this morning and it wasn't even approaching cool! Must have been the NATO return addy as they are afraid y'all 'll send Peacekeepers! :whistling:
Glad to hear all resolved well for you bro. You missed one helluva Herf sendoff for the old man! even Dean himself missed you, although he won't admit it, he's stickin' to his "I was sooo drunk" alibi!
