Thompson Cigar sending out junk mail now?

So I bought some Inguana cigars from Thompson a while ago. Heard a lot about these cigars so I wanted to give them a try. Unfortunately they don't satisfy my taste... Anyway, I get home and I see an envelope from Thompson. Open it up, and their trying to sell me a Orek Vacuum Cleaner. When did Thompson get into the home appliance business? Talk about targetted advertising!

Anyone else receive this ad yet?
 
I got something similar from JR cigars, I think. I threw it away before I read it. I bought a humidor from Thompson about a week ago and they have called me 4 times to get me to join their rebate program.
 
I got the same thing and I haven't bouth anything from Thompsons in well over a year. I got an air purifier ad too a few weeks ago.
 
a friend of mine gets their catalogs as do i but they outdid themselves with my friend. seems he moved and never gave them a change of adress. 2 months later to his new apt. adressed to him was a new and current catalog!

are these guys in with the freakin postoffice or something ???

never got anything but cigar catalouges from them though
 
I've never ordered anything from Thompson's and I got one of their catalogs in the mail addressed to me, once. ??? They got my address somewhere.
 
I wouldn't know what they send out as everything from them goes directly into the trash unopened. IMO anyone that buys anything from them isn't taking advantage of the info availble here or several other places.
 
Friend of mine ordered a humi from them that came with 50 of the terrible house brand cigars. Very next month he gets another package in the mail from them containing 75 more cigars. He checked his credit card statement and found that he had been charged for the new shipment of cigars. It took him nearly 2 months to get refunded and to get them to stop sending him stuff he did not want. I will never buy anything from that place regardless of how good a deal it appears to be.

Same thing happened to me, but it took them almost two years before they found me again. :angry2:
 
My garbage cans / recycle bins are between my mailbox and my back door. That's the usual route taken when I go to check the mail.... :laugh: Haven't been bombed by Thompsons, though I do get their catalogs now and then. I ordered two boxes of Padron Fumas from them some time ago, and had to get a supervisor on the phone to convice them I didn't want anything to do with their "buyers club".

First and last time for those jokers. 'Nuff said.....
